BWEP Thanksgiving Party 2017

This is going to be a very long post, but it will be worth your time!

https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fcineverites%2Fvideos%2F1791979204145618%2F&show_text=0&width=560“>BWEP Thanksgiving 2017

I’m so lost for words right now. I actually don’t know how to start this post because my heart is so full. Batangas Wedding & Event Professionals (BWEP)’s journey for the past 3 years was never easy; it was fun and yet it was indeed challenging. Years ago having this organization is just merely a dream. “Suntok sa buwan!” is the more appropriate phrase to use. Who would have thought that we can gather hundreds of wedding and event suppliers under one roof where some are friends and colleagues while others strongly treat each other as competitors? I’m glad we took that liberty to invite them, and we are honored how we grew in numbers through the years and I am more overwhelmed that these people were more than willing and excited to be part of this unforgettable milestone.

BWEP’s Thanksgiving Party 2017 would not be possible without the help of our very generous event partners and sponsors. If you’ve got the heart, the ability and the willingness to help you will never have second thoughts to give back. I and the core group can attest to this, we did not get a “NO”, we asked them if they could help us pull this event and all we’ve received are positive responses, no one has turned their backs on us and with that we are immensely grateful.

Team CoreeNell #PaandarWedding

One Amazing Team! If you do it with Love nothing will go wrong. Just give your full trust to your chosen suppliers and they will not fail you!

I was so excited when I found out that my sister, Coreene and Nell, now my brother-in-law have already decided to get married, it was December of 2014. Since I pretty much know them, I already have envisioned how it would be like on their wedding day. As the Wedding Planner, I exactly knew who the right people to call and trust. I knew who would be the perfect partners for their special day. And I was right! We actually made the right choices. We got the best team suitable to us. The team who can carefully take care of the couples’  needs, likes and wants. The team that is dependable, reliable, admirable, passionate, dedicated, and committed. A team of experienced wedding suppliers that has a reputable name; synonymous to the kind of product and services that they have been providing through the years.

This team made sure that every little detail, the nitty-gritty ones will be taken into consideration; that everything will be handled accordingly based on how we planned it. Though this couple is one of the most unique ones and easy to work with, they surely have some expectations in their minds that we all gladly exceeded.

If you are going to ask Coreene what she wants, she would just say “Simple lang, basta may Pink, Ok na ako dun!, Kung ano sa tingin n’yo ang maganda, masaya na ako dun! Madali naman ako kausap, basta may pink at may hearts!” She just wants to have simple, memorable and happy wedding and have it witnessed and celebrated by people who matters to both of them and their families.

For us wedding supplier one of the hardest word to define is the word ‘simple’. Everyone has a different point of view or perception of the word. I know most suppliers would agree with me. Simple could mean a lot, it depends on how you describe it.

Coreene and Nell’s wedding had been a mind-boggling and nerve-wracking challenge to most of their wedding partners especially to their florist/event stylist – Willy Tongco of Fioridella and their Couturier – Adam Balasa of Adam Balasa Couture. When they asked Coreene and Nell about what they wanted the answer was

“IKAW NA BAHALA!, Ikaw ang mas nakakaalam ng maganda! Ikaw ang magaling dyan, Kaya mo na yan!” WE TRUST YOU! Wala akong pegs basta may pink masaya na ako dun. “

Willy Tongco, my friend, thank you for being so kind and for accommodating our requests. You did not just wow everyone with your set up and paandar, you have exceeded our expectations. Ikaw na talaga Willy, kaya naman sabi nga ni Coreene, matagal ka na n’ya gustong isako kasi wala kang ginagawang hindi maganda. You are very creative, iba ka talaga! Salamat at #NaWillyTongco kami. You are truly #BatangasFinestFlorist Thanks to your team, Ate Jhec, Cesar, Jorge, Nonoy and Dennis of Fioridella flower shop.

We put our full trust in you and you delivered, you never fail to amaze us. You made us all look great on our gowns the mothers and the rest of the entourage. You have made Coreene the prettiest on her wedding day. You have enhanced what she already has and showcased her assets and hid her flaws. Amazing ka! Good thing she was able to give justice to the very elegant and timeless gown you have made for her. She was in love with her wedding gown and everyone was asking who was she wearing. She is so happy and proud to say, we are all wearing Adam Balasa! #BatangasFinestCouturier Thanks to Jinn Ross and Myri for the assistance too!

Georgia, thank you for making my sister the most beautiful bride on her wedding day iba talaga pag #Georgiafied lakas maka-feeling celebrity. Special thanks to JR Medrano, Pauline Prieto and Rubi Sarmiento for taking care of the girls’ hair and make up. Ang saya lang pag kayo ang kasama. Chillax lang. We love it!

For their cake, Myra & Lea of Nanay Aveling’s asked them the same question and they just said we just want it to be simple with hearts design in shades of white and pink. They just made a very beautiful cake perfect for the couple; and to our surprise when they sliced it the color of the cake was pink too. So sweet and so cute! I know nahirapan din kayo sa challenge ni Coreene. Thank you talaga!

For their invitations, they just wanted it simple and classy with touches of white and pink.  Anna and Nikki, eagerly assisted us in choosing the perfect invitation and they made it just the way the couple wanted it.  While Dennise and Josie of Design Plus assisted us with other printed stuff and Rizah of Paper Creations took care of the Misalettes. I can really depend on all of you basta usapang papel, prints, invites, envelops atbp. Kayo number 1 sa akin!

The Souvenirs for the guests were given by the MK Family (Kuya AJ, Ate Maricel & Baby MK) while the souvenirs for the principal sponsors were made with love by Coreene with  the help of Tito Jed and Jovel.

With regard to lights and sounds, we can never go wrong with RM Lights and Sounds.  Tito Ray Mayo, Jobert, Alvin and Jeff of Team RM made sure that the mood lighting, special effects, musical scoring and audio will be just right for the program. Again kayo pa rin ang favourite lights and sounds supplier ko. You are indeed one of the best and may malasakit sa program at sa katrabaho. Mabuhay kayo!

When it comes to music Totally Mesmerized is our most trusted partner in providing awesome and pleasing entertainment to our guests.

This team will always be family to us and to GEMBSO. Shout out to Tiffany, Diane, Jun, Billy, Richard and Tito Joel for serenading our guests. We all enjoyed listening to you. You totally mesmerized everyone. Thanks to Sheila, Joseph and Vier too we miss you guys.

The couple chose Nice Print to tell the story of their wedding day. They were the ones to whom Coreene and Nell have entrusted the most significant milestone in their lives as one. We handpicked the members of the team to cover; it was led by Hazel Santillan Naval, Jeff and Emerson together with nine others. The onsite photo was awesome and the shots were beautiful the onsite video was great and heartfelt! Thank you Bien, Flor and Rhecy for the assistance and correspondence too.

Thanks to Tito Emie Rojas, from GEMBSO who drove the bridal car, to Ate Mathy for making sure that no one will be hungry. Thanks for the lunch you have prepared for the entire Team CoreeNell.

An ALDUB Kind of LOVE! by Majella & GEMBSO

An Aldub Inspired Project that is meant to share LOVE and give HAPPINESS to soon-to-weds from ALDUB Nation.

ALDUBKIND OF LOVE6
AN ALDUB KIND OF LOVE PROJECT by MAJELLA & GEMBSO

How can you say that you are thankful and blessed? In life we all look at things differently. We see things, events and people depending on how we want it. But blessings come to us each and everyday, it can be in big or in small packages, there are also some that seem to be so hard to perceive or usually left unnoticed. I believe that everyday we are given equal opportunities to be a blessing. We just have to choose to be a blessing to others in any way we can and we’ll be doubly blessed.

I have learned the importance of sharing and being a blessing to others. Here are the seven ways on how one can become a blessing?

1. Learn to share what you have.                                                                                                    2. Give but don’t expect anything in return.
3. Think of other’s feelings, welfare and being.
4. Put others happiness first before your own.
5. Inspire others to be a blessing too.                                                                                        6. Always spread good vibes, love and happiness.                                                                       7. Pray for others and wish them well.

As a Wedding Planner, I always enjoy listening to my GEMBSO couples’ love story. There is always something new; something unusual that makes their story unique in its own way. I am amazed on how God has written their story and believe that there is really forever. Whenever I plan and host for weddings, I get inspired with the ways on how they met, how he asked the question and how she said YES! Life is always full of surprises and LOVE usually takes us by surprise; it comes unexpectedly, no orientation needed. I have been so blessed to witness so many couples’ stories of love for almost 10 years now. In line with GEMBSO’s 10th year anniversary in the wedding industry and the celebration of my birthday I would be delighted to share the blessings that I have been receiving; and my way to give back is by doing one thing I love the most the best way I know how.

I have decided to let a couple from ALDUB NATION to have the chance to Experience #AlagangGEMBSO – Alagang May PagmaMAJal.

I am praying that this project will be a success and I am also hoping that this campaign would reach the right people who deserves to win. It may not be in monetary form but rest assured that in every wedding I plan together with one of the best team I know, my GEMBSO Angels, I know that every detail will be properly taken care of and we treat each wedding as special as the couple’s love story.

Let’s all celebrate the month of LOVE with so much gratefulness, appreciation and joy.

Please don’t forget to share, repost, quote tweet and re-tweet. God bless us all.

#REJOY on Maj & GEMBSO

I certainly believed Picasso when he said, everything you can imagine is real. Just like the way our wedding has been planned; it was both SURREAL and MAGNIFICENT. #REJOY

When you trust the people you chose to be part of your special day, they will exert more effort to make you happier.

Mr. and Mrs. Reginald and Joy Andal
I certainly believed Picasso when he said, everything you can imagine is real. Just like the way our wedding has been planned; it was both SURREAL and MAGNIFICENT.
I remembered two years ago, it was December of 2012 (as in last-day-of-the-year) when hubby and I called for a meeting with one of the finest wedding planners in this galaxy – MAJ, Majelle Magpantay.

We met at Hot and Cold Cafe at 11 in the morning and we were completely mesmerized on how Maj really carried the name of Gembso Events and Beyond – her being so full of superb ideas brought to life a wedding that seemed to be surreal – making her one of the most sought- after events planner of all times.

What also made the wedding special is the fact that our personalities clicked like a match made in heaven – add that to the fact that our biological families are attcahed in a way we could’ve not imagined possible.

Then there came the ginormous preparations and paperworks ( well, just so we know, Maj is really one hell of a strict coordinator when it comes to deadlines – which I am always missing, teehee ; and just as every Gembso Bride experienced it to be Maj would then release her Amazona powers so that you’ll make it on time hahaha iloveyou sis ). But that one rare characteristic of hers is what really set her apart from the rest – because of that OUR DREAM EVENT is as splendid as we hoped it to become.

Aside from the fact that the TEAM is really the best – We are very thankful for the lasting gift and bond of friendship that it created. Being with them on a side trip is surely a mind blowing experience – no dull moments- just full of laughter and tears of joy that came from laughing our hearts out. We didnt even realize that its almost midnight or the next day and we do need to go home. We couldnt forget the most sumptuous Caldereta at Gembso’s Kitchen! 🙂 we would normally raid Maj’s house and then stay there till night to eat ( even if there’s no meeting while chatting with “boss” ).

And on our wedding day of course, Maj and the team has been very professional in handling every detail of the wedding – from the littlest things to the great ones. Thank you to Ate Rose who has been my angel for the entire ceremony ; Ate Rizah for perfectly crafting our save the dates, menu card; place cards and many more. I am thankful that all of us are really very OC with all the details 🙂 Maj thank you for crafting and conceptualizing my perfect wedding cake! You are really a genius! 🙂 thank you also for finding that invitation maker that certainly suited our personalities 🙂

Surely, we missed all the chatting, group dates, coffee, shoe shopping, food search and many more.

There are many more things to be thankful for and I am afraid that the pages wouldn’t fit – so from the bottom of our hearts – OUR HEARTFELT GRATITUDE to the GEMBSO team for planning the most important event in our lives.

For all those who are planning on a celebration or event – hesitate no more! Choose Maj and the GEMBSO team – you’ll never go wrong!

TIPS for SOON-TO-WEDS: Matters About The Wedding Guest List

Your big day is yours to enjoy with the people you love and the ones who are happy for you. Make the right list!

Slide1

As a Wedding Planner, here are my thoughts on matters about inviting guests and making the list.

In every occasion that we have in our lives it is only necessary to invite the important ones. It is not mandatory that you invite the whole neighborhood, the friends of your siblings, all the kumpares and kumares of your parents and most especially it is not required for you to invite all your officemates and batchmates. Provided that there will be some “Tampo” issues that might arise but soon it will also subside. What matters most is you have the people who love you and those who will do whatever it takes just to be with you on your special day.

They are the kind of people who will never complain about the attire that you asked them to wear. The ones who will immediately respond to RSVPs because they will not afford to miss your big day. Those who are excited to do long travel just to make it on time before you march. Those people who will patiently register and wait for their turn on the buffet, those people who will participate on your program and the people who still want to stay even if your done with your program.

Your big day is yours to enjoy with the people you love and the ones who are happy for you. Just enjoy every moment of it, make the most of your big day. There is no room for regrets on your wedding day. Just be happy.

Here is a simple guide.

Rank your guests.

1 – HIGH priority (guests you can’t live without – Immediate Family Members, Entourage, Super BestFriends)
2 – MEDIUM priority (guests who are so dear to you and very important to be there for your big day)
3 – LOW priority (everything will be ok regardless if they will be there or not)

Criteria …

Will they make us happy? Yes or No
Will they stay until the end of the program? Yes or No
Will they exert all the effort with no hesitations and no complains just to make it on time for our wedding? Yes or No
Will they bring extra people or kids we are not comfortable with? Yes or No
Will they make our wedding memorable and fun? Yes or No
Is it really necessary for us to invite them or we are just forced to do so? Yes or No

I hope this can help you to have a tailored guest list for your big day. Happy preps.

Wedding Preps In The Eyes Of A Wedding Planner

What a Wedding Planner thinks, feels, and sees in every Wedding she does.

majelle1

I never thought that planning a wedding would be this fun and exciting. It makes me stay awake until the wee hours of the morning chatting with brides or grooms in other time zones, answering emails, and updating the nerve-wracking RSVPs not realizing that I still have to sleep and prepare for another hectic day.

It makes me wake up  early and look forward to whatever “To do” that I could accomplish every day. Time is very important. Every minute counts. We are given chances to grab, opportunities to take and no second to waste.

As a wedding planner, I have timelines to be followed, guidelines to be observed, deadlines to be met, limitations to be seen and most importantly goals to be realised.  Satisfying and making every couple happy is my major task. I always want to be on the right track. Should not miss anything. I have to be always ready and must be on the go. Must always be up for new challenges; making sure that we are still working within the budget and having some brain-draining sessions just to explore my team’s creativity and think of new and useful ideas for every wedding we plan. From choosing the perfect song for the bridal march, thinking of the designs for the candles and matchboxes, organizing the program and a whole lot more.

Some people think that a wedding planner/coordinator’s job is so easy. Others would say we are just ushers or helpers at the church and reception. Some of the guests would think we are just ordinary people, I’ve been hearing people calling us “alalay” or “yaya” but I would like to let them know that we are not. We are professionals. We are coordinators. We are the partners of the couple in making their wedding a truly wonderful and memorable one; working hand in hand together with equally professional wedding suppliers.

Imagine how a wedding would be like not having a professional planner to coordinate on that day. How chaotic it could be without us? You might probably see a panicking bride, a stressed mom, a perspiring groom, or a sister who was not able to witness the ceremony because there are so many things that need attention to detail and they have no one to act on it. We, the coordinators take care of it and we implement what is planned. We assume possible circumstances, anticipates urgencies and we are always ready for unexpected situations. Name it, perhaps we had experienced it. From sunny to stormy moments we have to stay put and perform our duties. We always put our hearts in everything that we do. Just like what they say, don’t sweat on the small stuff. Let the professionals handle it.

Let the suppliers do it. Just make sure to hire the right people to make your wedding a success. On second thought we are not fairy godmothers. We don’t do magic. We can only do so much with what the couples give. Wedding suppliers have so many duties to do, hundreds of people to please, and high expectations to be exceeded; and it is not an easy thing. We all need a lot of patience, proper time-management, pure dedication in everything that we do. Every successful event is a fruit of our hardwork. We study, we plan, we strategize, and we execute the event in the best possible way we can. It’s not all about the money. There’s more to it. Sometimes it’s about passion, personal growth and achievements.

But in spite of the tons of work that need to be done, planning my GEMBSO couples’ wedding gives me so much eagerness and satisfaction. It makes me smile and imagine how it would be like on that big day! I always see things in a positive way. Because, I know that I’ve invested so much time and effort to make everything fall into its proper place. I never thought that this would somehow change my attitude towards trusting other people too. I realised that sometimes taking a big risk could also do you good. Working with couples you haven’t seen and with wedding suppliers whom you do not know is somehow stressful just like dealing with different kinds of people with various personalities. But in the course of planning a special occasion I found out that trust and communication are just few of the essential keys for having a smooth sailing wedding preps and a seamless wedding day 🙂 I also gained a lot of friends in the wedding industry and my clients too became my buddies, friends and ‘kumares’ 🙂

Now, having worked with one of the best team I know, My Gembso Team, I just feel that on every wedding I plan and coordinate with my ever-reliable angels, yes they are my Angels. Every detail will be properly taken care of. And to tell you, every wedding is as special as the couple’s love story.

I always look forward to see happy couples, grateful parents, appreciative guests, friendly suppliers and I love to end every event with a happy heart knowing that we were able to make another GEMBSO Event at its finest and beyond.

As I put myself to sleep after every event I planned, my heart is always filled with happiness and heartfelt gratitude to God. Because I know that He was there with me; watching me, and guiding me in every decision I made.

1st Christmas with ALDUB 2015 – One For Keeps! #KiligPaMore

This Christmas is so different from the past Christmases that I had for the past 12 years. Ever since I graduated from College, I have been so busy and as a Wedding Planner I usually don’t have much time during December because of weddings or events. It’s my first time to do something unusual. But it made me happy. Yes I am happy and I am proud! Do you still remember the last time you actually did something for the first time? Was it worth it? My answer, YES it’s really really really worth it.

It’s actually my first time to watch an MMFF movie on Christmas Day, where there are a lot of people from all ages who go to the mall to watch as well. Going to SM Batangas at 8:30 in the morning to catch the first screening of MyBebeLOVE #KILIGPAMORE in SM CINEMA 3 that was shown at 9:30 am was quite a challenge. But since I am a self-confessed proud ALDUB Fan together with my sister and friends, we were ready for whatever challenge that may come our way. We are like any other members of the ALDUB Nation “WALANG MAKAPIPIGIL SA AMIN!” Caps lock para intense! We got the tickets, chose a good seat, lucky us we have E-PLUS cards for express lane and we were spared from the long queue of moviegoers for MBL. Fantastic si Bibi! The odds are ever in our favor.

mybebelove

Seeing some familiar faces of neighbors, relatives,  friends, and even those I did not know gave me so much positivity. Some moviegoers went there with their families, with their children, with their grandparents, with their friends, with their partners, with their AlDubarkads and some came in solo but one thing I am sure of nobody ever felt alone inside. It feels like we all knew each other. When someone said “Grabe Sya, or Grabe Sila!” everyone reacted too. And when someone shouted Regine! the rest said…. Whooooooooh! Ala Lola Tidora! We may not know each other but we, the ALDUB Nation has our own language to communicate. The atmosphere inside the cinema was so high, it feels like TP days, everyone was excited, giddy and super kinikilig! Can you just imagine a room filled with hundreds of people that only radiate good vibes and happiness. While we are waiting for the movie to be shown I heard a lot of people said “Di pa man nagsisimula gusto ko na agad ulitin!, Iba talaga ang ALDUB, ang #MyBebeLove pinapasaya tayo.

Then I realized, as human we don’t really need much in order to be grateful and happy. We just need a few to satisfy our simple wants and enjoy life’s simple joys. In times of hardships, problems and challenges we just need something that can make us smile or give us a good laugh even just for a while. For the past 23 weeks ALDUB has always been there for us and through their movie we got a bonus from AISING. We are so lucky, we are spoiled nation anyway!

Congratulations Direk Joey, Bossing, Aiai, to ALDUB Alden and Maine and all to the hardworking and dedicated members of the production team of #MyBebeLOVE everything that you have done, all your efforts, time, and creativity that you put in this movie was well-appreciated. You have come up with a really good piece that the whole ALDUB Nation will thank you for. You have made our Christmas 2015 extra special by giving us an extraordinary gift to enjoy. Your success is also ALDUB Nation’s success, and together we will continue to work hand in hand to make this world a better and happier place to live in.  We are committed to support you in every endeavor.

Dondi&Anna

For me, now is the only Christmas that I never felt lonely that I still don’t have a love life. I have been fervently praying to God for Him to give me the right man for about a decade or so. But when ALDUB came into the picture they made me believe in tamang panahon, destiny, forever and true love. I personally believe that LOVE will come unexpectedly, it may not be this year but I must say, I will always have a great memory of Christmas 2015. Thanks to ALDUB this year is really one for keeps!

Again, MERRY CHRISTMAS to EAT BULAGA DABARKADS, AISING, ALDUB NATION and to ALDUB (Alden & Maine) Wishing that you also to have a great CHRISTMAS to remember! Let us continue to spread LOVE, radiate GOOD VIBES and share HAPPINESS! Let us not forget that the real reason for this season is our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s us thank God for He has been so good to us and we have so many blessings to be thankful for.

Eat Bulaga’s Advocacy And The Legacy TVJ, ALDUB And EB Dabarkads Have Instilled In Us, Filipinos.

EB_Logo

Eat Bulaga! – A famous household name, “Bukambibig ng bawat Pinoy” – the more appropriate description. It is the longest running noontime show on television that has been with us for the past thirty-six challenging years. Eat Bulaga has touched the lives of Filipinos all over the world in more ways than you can imagine. EB is not just an ordinary show. Eat Bulaga has a perfect combination of great hosts with versatile talents too. For its viewers, watching EB has become a habit, like you’ve never want to miss any episode. Watching Eat Bulaga for the past three decades has made a lasting impact in our lives. TVJ and EB Dabarkads are not just hosts, “Pamilyang Pinoy” considers them as family.

eb_1Today, even more Filipinos are getting hooked to this “pinag-uusapan at kaabang-abang” na noontime show. Eat Bulaga also paved the way for the discovery of various talents that made a name in the entertainment industry. Though it seems so natural for Eat Bulaga to make their audience laugh with tears and help them fulfill their dreams via EB’s various segments – Little Miss Philippines, Bulagaan, Pinoy Henyo, Bulaga Pa More, Juan for All, All for Juan : Bayanihan of d’ Pipol, and KalyeSerye just to name a few, Eat Bulaga’s pursuit to giving joy doesn’t end there.

Looking back to what Eat Bulaga, Tito, Vic and Joey, and the EB Dabarkads have been doing through the years, I can’t help but wonder, How did EB maintains its popularity to its millions of viewers and yet it has managed to gain an incremental number of followers everyday? Suddenly, I realized what sets them apart from the rest. It is because the people behind Eat Bulaga have real genuine hearts, “may PUSO”. EB has the kind of heart that is truly “Pinoy”, a heart that you will be proud to have.  A heart that gives hope to the helpless. A heart that has the courage to be resilient in spite of the never-ending trials. A heart that cares for the less fortunate. A heart that listens to the society. A heart that humbly shares its blessings. A heart that is not self-seeking. A heart that forgives and most especially a heart that appreciates and gives back.

Eat Bulaga never fails to help our less fortunate brethren with the special projects that it has launched. Education is one of EB’s many advocacies. Eat Bulaga believes in the importance of education and thought of projects that can help alleviate the problems in our society. Do you still remember the thirty Eat Bulaga Excellent Students (EBESt) scholars? As of today, two batches of scholars that are composed of thirty poor but hardworking students were sent to school by Eat Bulaga.

First batch was launched in 2009 and graduated 2013. To show EB’s unwavering support to the EBest Scholars, Eat Bulaga also helps them go through with their College Education. The second batch of EBESt scholars was launched last 2014. Here is a video of Eat Bulaga Best Excellent Students Awardee Graduation 1st Batch of EBest Scholars. EBest Scholars 2009 – Batch 1 Here is the video of the launching of the second of batch of EBESt Scholars EBest Scholars 2014 – Batch 2

Have you also heard the “Isang Lapis, Isang Papel Project”?  This was Bossing Vic Sotto’s Birthday Anniversary wish. Isang Lapis, Isang Papel ProjectBossing Expressing his thanks to EveryJuan

“Ito lang ang wish ni Bossing sa kanyang birthday, ang sama-sama nating pagbabayanihan upang makatulong sa pagtupad ng mga pangarap ng mga mag-aaral na nangangailangan.”

Eat Bulaga had The EB Classroom Project where they built classrooms and libraries.Part 1 : EB Classroom Project Turnover – Lakdayan Elementary SchoolPart 2: EB Classroom Project Turnover Lakdayan Elementary School EB Classroom Project : Silid Aklatan/Silid Kaalaman – Unzad Elementary School Brgy. Unzad, Villasis, Pangasinan  June 17, 2011

Eat Bulaga also had EB – Ryzza’s Classroom Project wherein she auctioned her  dresses for this cause. “Ang mga maiipon sa bibilhin niyo, gagamitin sa feeding program ng ilang mag-aaral sa Pampanga.  Dahil bawal ang gutom, dapat busog!” – Ryzza Mae Dizon

Eat Bulaga’s “Juan for All, All for One, Bayanihan of d’ Pipol” segment hosted by Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, also known as JoWaPao, the new generation of TVJ shows the true purpose of Eat Bulaga — to relentlessly help less fortunate Filipinos and to give happiness to every Juan who supported them throughout the years. Part of this segment is the “Plastic ni Juan Project, where they collect plastic bottles then recycle into armchairs and donate to different  schools around the country. For years they have helped thousands of students, schools and barangays throughout the Philippines, “mula Batanes hanggang Jolo.”

The “Kalyeserye” entitled #KiligPaMore was also launched July of 2015 a segment that teaches good and traditional Filipino values and lessons about love. In line with birth of the phenomenal love team AlDub, (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, aka Yaya Dub), Eat Bulaga has been even more blessed. Eat Bulaga continues to dominate the ratings in its daily noontime slot. It is also evident with the obvious growing number of TVCs   and sponsors who have put their trust to EB. As they say, 2015 is the rebirth of Eat Bulaga, a stronger, a better, a more meaningful Eat Bulaga offering “mas masaya at mas makabuluhang panood.”

EB13

Together with AlDub, the AlDub Nation was born. A nation that makes EB and AlDub trend everyday with at least 7-digit number of  tweets. This nation is the only Fandom that received an Achievement Award for spreading “KalyeSerye” values online through inspirational posts and tweets. It continuously breaks records in history one of which is the 25.6 million tweets for #ALDUBEBforLove and they are also planning to break their own record of tweets for the upcoming Tamang Panahon Celebration. TicketWorld also announced that The Tamang Panahon Event had the highest ticket sales accumulated for just a day.

One way to give back and celebrate the overall success of AlDub, Lola Nidora, portrayed by Wally Bayola announced on Eat Bulaga’s October 17, 2015 episode of “Kalyeserye”, that the most awaited “Tamang Panahon” is bound to happen on October 24, 2015, Saturday at The Philippine Arena – The world’s largest indoor arena that has 55,000 seating capacity. #TamangPanahon will come to reality exactly 100 days after the birth of Aldub, – July 16, 2015.

eb_2“Tamang Panahon” is not just for the “Kalyeserye lovers” – Alden and Yaya Dub. It is for the whole AlDub Nation too. Lola Nidora has invited the AlDub Nation to be part of this historical event, EB’s biggest extravaganza ever. To make it more meaningful, she encourages everyone to join them by buying tickets to be able to watch the show. Lola Nidora said that 100 percent of the ticket sales will be used for building “ALDUB LIBRARIES”, Eat Bulaga’s latest project in cooperation with the whole AlDub Nation. Just a few hours after the announcement, tickets were selling like hotcakes and almost sold out over the weekend. This goes to show that the AlDub Nation is not just a nation that tweets. It is also nation that helps, shares, cares and supports projects with a noble cause for the benefit of many. The power of the united AlDub Nation and Eat Bulaga will exceptionally show the real essence of “Bayanihan”. “Isang gawaing may kabuluhan at di makasarili lamang!”

aldub nation             Since the real number of AlDub Nation is not just equivalent to 55,000 people, there were several petitions through tweets and FB posts from the AlDub Nation worldwide those who consider themselves as #TeamAbroad #TeamBahay and #TeamReplay asking of other ways to help. They have been calling the attention of Eat Bulaga hosts Tito, Vic and Joey, other EB Dabarkads, Alden, Maine and EB producers and staff. There were also tweets asking the help of the sponsors of EB as well. In response to this plea, Eat Bulaga and Tape, Inc. incooperation with BDO one of their sponsor banks an Account for ALDUB has been set up to receive monetary donations from all over the world. Isn’t it heartwarming to see a real worldwide “bayanihan” in the making?

Eat Bulaga!, TVJ, Alden & Maine, and EB Dabarkads, you just don’t know how much you have touched the lives of so many Filipinos. Thanks for inspiring more people to help through their own little ways. You taught us to be selfless. You never fail to inspire us, by encouraging us to support such sensible projects with a magnanimous cause. This is indeed a really “humbling experience for the supporters and lovers of Eat Bulaga and AlDub.

eatbulaga

There are so many unexplainable reasons why we, Filipinos love Eat Bulaga. But,  I must say we have learned to love Eat Bulaga and its Dabarkads because we believe in them, we journey with them and we continuously admire and adhere their “Mabuting Hangarin para sa higit na nakararami.” Let us all remember,  sabi nga nila …“Hangga’t may bata, may Eat Bulaga!”

Congratulations Eat Bulaga!, TVJ, EB Dabarkads, AlDub (Alden and Maine) and AlDub Nation! This is just the beginning. More to go!

PS : During “Tamang Panahon” Charity concert of AlDub last October 24, 2015 held at The Philippine Arena, there were 55,000 people who gathered and partied with the whole AlDub Nation and EB Dabarkads. Worldwide Bayanihan was so evident. Aside from TeamArena who watched the show live the TeamBahay, TeamAbroad and TeamReplay watched from different parts of the world through Live Streaming via YouTube, on their television sets, mobile phones, and via Pinoy TV simultaneously. This Tamang Panahon episode of Eat Bulaga got a rating from AGB Nielsen in Mega Mla 50.8% audience share of 82.8% vs its competitor 5.4%/8.8%. The highest among all of Eat Bulaga’s episode for the past 3 decades. Almost fourteen million pesos were raised through ticket sales alone. There were also donations sent by OFWs and other Filipinos who were not able to buy tickets. BDO facilitated an account for ALDUB through Tape, Inc.’s account. The accumulated number of tweets for #ALDubEBTamangPanahon reached 41 million. There was an official statement by Rishi Jaitly from Twitter about this.
