An Open Letter For The One That God Has Made For Me.

Someday, the right time will come when God would let our hands to hold each other and we would never ever let go.

Looking back on my notes on Facebook I came across this one that I have posted June 2011. I actually forgot who sent this to me or made me read this but I know it would be so worth it to share.  I found it very apt with regard to my status back then and upon reading it again I realized that it is still very much applicable to me right at this moment. I would like to share it with you all wonderful single people:) Have a great Monday!

Someday, the right time will come when God would let us hold each other’s hand and we would never ever let go

.hands

I am wondering at this very minute if you are thinking of me, if like me,  you are wondering what is taking us so long to find each other. Many times I thought I finally found you only to be disillusioned by the fact that my wait has not yet ended. I get up each morning hoping, dreaming, longing to meet you. I am thinking of how we will meet, would it be as romantic as the ones I have seen in movies? Or is it possible that I have known you all my life but we have yet to realize that we are meant for each other? Oh how I wish you were here right now because you are the only one who has the answers to all my questions.
Sometimes I ask myself if I have ever really known “love”. I do not have the answer to that question either but I believe that, more often than not, we will never really know what love is until we find that right person…. and since I have not found you yet, then maybe I do not really know what love is!
You just don’t know how often I dream of finally knowing what it feels like to be in your arms. Even at this very moment I am imagining how you will simply sweep me off my feet! Perhaps I would be drawn to you by your smile, or your eyes, or maybe even how you manage to make me laugh by your silly little ways!
I don’t really know for sure but I am praying that God will help me recognize you when the right time comes. I think of all the pain that I have gone through in the past and of how much I have cried since the day I began my search. I just wanted you to know that I find my strength in clinging onto my vision of the beautiful life ahead of  me — the life I shall spend with you. In my mind and in my heart I know that you are worth all that pain and sacrifice.
After all, the tears have become a part of my life and I believe that they are slowly washing away my flaws so that I would become perfect, not perfect in its truest sense, but perfect — for YOU!  I wonder if you’ve gone through so much pain as well. I wonder if you’ve been hurt so many times along the journey.
But my dearest one, please don’t ever give up because I am right here… patiently waiting for you! I assure you that when we finally find each other I would slowly heal those wounds by my love. At night, I would look out my window and stare at the beautiful sky, hoping that somehow you are also looking up and wondering about me. I utter a silent prayer and send all my cries to the heavens above thinking that in time they would reach you. And when I feel impatient, I just close my eyes and believe  that you are on your way and that you are longing to see me as well. It is funny but when I finally fall asleep, it is still you that I think of, for you are always in my dreams. It seems that, for now, that is the only place where I can hold on to you, long enough to tell you how much I love you. In my dreams you would kiss away my fears and wrap me with your arms of love.
And this, all the more, makes me want to wake up and face the  new day ahead with the hope that soon enough,  you will no longer be a dream but a reality and once again I am assured that you are worth the wait. And when that time comes, everything will fall into its place, just as I had imagined, just as I had thought and dreamed, just as I had believed it would be!
By then, I would simply look back and smile at all that I have gone through, in spite of the pain and amidst the simple joys of life — and I would be very thankful  because they all led me to you!
In the meantime, take care of yourself for me. Hold on to our dream and don’t even think of letting go. Believe in your heart that we will find each other no matter what happens. God has planned the course and it is up to us to follow the directions. Don’t worry, don’t be afraid about getting lost, God saw to it that all the roads, no matter which one you choose to follow, lead to me .

Rudy & Yolly Echavia’s 50-Year Journey to Forver

Rudy and Yolly proved that even if they had a short courtship, one of the secrets to a lasting marriage is to continue loving each other, making sure that you put your partner’s happiness first.

Rudy & Yolly Echavia

There are only a few people in the world who are lucky enough to find their one true love. Not everyone can spend the rest of their lives with the person they chose to marry.

Finding “the one” makes you want to rush to forever – to not waste even a single second, away from your soulmate.Finding “the one” opens the doors to God’s abundant blessings. Starting a family, having wonderful children and grandchildren are the best blessings anyone could ever ask for.

Fifty blissful years – that’s how long God has kept Rudy and Yolly’s marriage in the cradle of His loving arms. God made sure that He will continue to bless this wonderful couple with so much and more. Rudy and Yolly have shown that, despite numerous trials and shortcomings, God has been in the center of their family life, never fleeting, always lighting their way.

We as witnesses to their love story can say that True Love cannot just be measured by how long you’ve known each other.

Rudy and Yolly met in December 1963, became friends, lovers and tied the knot on May 21, 1964. Just like the song “What Matters Most” Rudy and Yolly proved that even if they had a short courtship, one of the secrets to a lasting marriage is to continue loving each other, making sure that you put your partner’s happiness first.

Love cannot be measured by time. Love can be measured in a way only the heart knows how.

I would also like to extend my warmest thanks to the awesome family of Rudy and Yolly, their loving children Cathy, Judith, Roland and Dorothy Dots Echavia-Magtibay together with their families for choosing me. For trusting me for letting me coordinate and host this very special milestone in their parents’ lives.

ALDUB Library Project

ALDUB NATION is not just a nation that tweets. It is a nation that unites, loves, cares, shares, spreads good vibes and makes others happy, doing small things with great love.

I’m a self-confessed Eat Bulaga baby, an avid believer, and I have been their fan for the past 30 years of my life. I’ve seen them do noble things for others, discover new talents, create new segments, make big names in the industry, change lives and touch hearts. I even witnessed the times when they experienced turmoil during 36 challenging years of being on-air. But I never doubted them. I never turned my back on them because I cannot explain why I love them. For me that is already an enough reason why I am still here. My admiration and undeniably strong connection with Eat Bulaga strengthens even more when ALDUB was born. I can’t really explain how it changed me to become a better person. A happier, more positive and more concerned human being. I have been influenced by them to express my thoughts, to encourage others to live a positive life, to just spread good vibes and to make at least one person happy everyday.  I must admit God must have used ALDUB and Eat Bulaga to be instruments in making a lot of people realize that even though their individual acts of random kindness may seem small, collective efforts as a nation having the same goal with unity, nothing is impossible. We can all make the best happen just by doing small things with great love.

I may have missed the chance to be in Philippine Arena during Tamang Panahon that created history, but I AM PROUD TO BE PART OF ALDUB NATION.

ALDUB NATION is not just a nation that tweets. It is a nation that unites, loves, cares, shares, spreads good vibes and makes others happy.

Just one of the many achievements that ALDUB Nation has is the ALDUB Library Project – the fruit of all the hardwork, commitment, donations and participation of everyone during Aldub Tamang Panahon.  The first ever ALDUB Library – Lumban Central Elementary School has been turned over and blessed today, January 21, 2016 in the presence of Alden, Maine, Lola Nidora and Lola Tidora and watched by Aldub nation in line with the celebration of ALDUB’s 27th Weeksary.

Eat Bulaga!, TVJ, Alden & Maine,  EB Dabarkads, you just don’t know how much you have touched the lives of so many Filipinos. Thanks for inspiring more people to help through their own little ways. You taught us to be selfless. You never fail to inspire us, by encouraging us to support such sensible projects with a magnanimous cause. This is indeed a really “humbling experience for the supporters and lovers of Eat Bulaga and AlDub.

There are so many unexplainable reasons up to this very moment why we, Filipinos love Eat Bulaga and ALDUB. But, I must say we have learned to love Eat Bulaga, ALDUB and its Dabarkads because we believe in them, we journey with them and we continuously admire and adhere their “Mabuting Hangarin para sa higit na nakararami.” Let us all remember,  sabi nga nila …“Hangga’t may bata, may Eat Bulaga!”

Mabuhay kayo! Mabuhay tayong lahat. Congratulations Eat Bulaga!, TVJ, EB Dabarkads, AlDub (Alden and Maine) and to the whole AlDub Nation sa buong mundo! We have shown the world the true and real essence of Filipino Bayanihan.- “Isang gawaing may kabuluhan at di makasarili lamang!”

This is just the beginning. Kapit lang. Sama-sama tayo! More to go!

A Heartfelt Message from Mr. and Mrs. Baby

One way that made me realized my worth as a Wedding Planner. #ILoveMyJob

Have you ever realized your worth in your chosen field or profession? I just want to share this message from one of my GEMBSO Couples. Their message of appreciation and gratitude keeps me going and love my job even more.

mr. and mrs. baby

A Heartfelt Message from Mr. and Mrs. Baby (Joel & Chona Lirio)

I have known Ate Majelle for so long. She was a schoolmate since elementary and high school. She was also one of our church youth group’s (KALIS-SMEP) leaders that I’ve looked up to and grown up with. There’s no question that she’s really a good person, but from our recent endeavor together her great personality and how beautiful a person she is had shine so brightly and had been deeply engraved in Baby’s and my heart.

I’ve gotten married recently and got Ate Majelle as our on-the-day coordinator. But that was not our original plan. From the start of our wedding preparations, we thought Ate Majelle’s service was quite pricey and opted to book another “cheaper” alternative (discounted maybe, but I tell you, it’s not cheap at all). But since wedding preparations does not go smoothly and perfectly as planned (especially for demanding and brutally honest persons me and Baby are) there were several changes along the way. 12 days before our wedding, for some “professional” reason, our photo-video team decided they could not work with us anymore and to add more insult to injury, our “professional” coordinator decided that she would be out of reach for 23hours while the whole fiasco was going on!!

I needed a coordinator real quick. And more than that, I needed a friend. With my Math/Logical/Statistics/Algo brain still turned on (this happened while I was at work), my brain started searching within my imaginary phone book looking for an intersection of Event Coordinator AND Friend groups. And that’s when I thought of Ate Majelle. Called her immediately, my reception was bad and then she called me. Me and Baby was in panic mode and did not know what to do. But we called the right person. From that time, everything was great and perfect. We managed to set up a great team from great people and developed great new friendships with everyone who worked with us on our Wedding.
This is not a paid advertisement, but I’d like to point out some points on how professional Ate Majelle really is:

1) She eats, sleeps and breaths Templates. Right after our first meeting, 11 days from the wedding, even before the meeting was over, we’ve already received 5 emails with 5-10 templates each. Templates/Forms we need to fillup to give all the details of our wedding. This just shows how organized and detailed she is on her work.
2) She’s always 5-10 mins early. And I was always late. But she’ll always remind you how important time was.
3) She does not procrastinate, she sticks to her schedules. Her OTD Coordination is not really “on-the-day” it starts weeks and months before the wedding. This is to make sure that her OTD coordination works PERFECTLY ON THE DAY.

But we do not consider her to be the best Wedding Coordinator because of the points above. It was because she was a friend. She was human. She shared our emotions. She shared our dream. She shared the load of being passionately in love of having a great day on the day of our wedding. Weddings are for one very emotional. Wedding couples are very emotional, and Ate Majelle understood that. I have forgotten how Me and Ate Majelle and the rest of our church youth group would stay up late to prepare for a recollection or for our church’s Senakulo. How she would sacrifice sleep to just have a perfect play, act and church event.

Ate Majelle was everyone’s Ate. And now it’s a wonderful thing to know that she’s extending her “Ate”-ness to couples around the world. This is her job, but this is also her passion. It’s good to know that even though the Wedding scene has been heavily comercialized, there are still some people who really cares about the couple and their wedding.

Ate Majelle, sobrang maraming maraming salamat. You didn’t just organize our wedding, but you helped us figure things out when it was all a mess. And you were a friend who keeps reminding us that is was about Me and Baby, it was about love. Thanks!!

1st Christmas with ALDUB 2015 – One For Keeps! #KiligPaMore

This Christmas is so different from the past Christmases that I had for the past 12 years. Ever since I graduated from College, I have been so busy and as a Wedding Planner I usually don’t have much time during December because of weddings or events. It’s my first time to do something unusual. But it made me happy. Yes I am happy and I am proud! Do you still remember the last time you actually did something for the first time? Was it worth it? My answer, YES it’s really really really worth it.

It’s actually my first time to watch an MMFF movie on Christmas Day, where there are a lot of people from all ages who go to the mall to watch as well. Going to SM Batangas at 8:30 in the morning to catch the first screening of MyBebeLOVE #KILIGPAMORE in SM CINEMA 3 that was shown at 9:30 am was quite a challenge. But since I am a self-confessed proud ALDUB Fan together with my sister and friends, we were ready for whatever challenge that may come our way. We are like any other members of the ALDUB Nation “WALANG MAKAPIPIGIL SA AMIN!” Caps lock para intense! We got the tickets, chose a good seat, lucky us we have E-PLUS cards for express lane and we were spared from the long queue of moviegoers for MBL. Fantastic si Bibi! The odds are ever in our favor.

mybebelove

Seeing some familiar faces of neighbors, relatives,  friends, and even those I did not know gave me so much positivity. Some moviegoers went there with their families, with their children, with their grandparents, with their friends, with their partners, with their AlDubarkads and some came in solo but one thing I am sure of nobody ever felt alone inside. It feels like we all knew each other. When someone said “Grabe Sya, or Grabe Sila!” everyone reacted too. And when someone shouted Regine! the rest said…. Whooooooooh! Ala Lola Tidora! We may not know each other but we, the ALDUB Nation has our own language to communicate. The atmosphere inside the cinema was so high, it feels like TP days, everyone was excited, giddy and super kinikilig! Can you just imagine a room filled with hundreds of people that only radiate good vibes and happiness. While we are waiting for the movie to be shown I heard a lot of people said “Di pa man nagsisimula gusto ko na agad ulitin!, Iba talaga ang ALDUB, ang #MyBebeLove pinapasaya tayo.

Then I realized, as human we don’t really need much in order to be grateful and happy. We just need a few to satisfy our simple wants and enjoy life’s simple joys. In times of hardships, problems and challenges we just need something that can make us smile or give us a good laugh even just for a while. For the past 23 weeks ALDUB has always been there for us and through their movie we got a bonus from AISING. We are so lucky, we are spoiled nation anyway!

Congratulations Direk Joey, Bossing, Aiai, to ALDUB Alden and Maine and all to the hardworking and dedicated members of the production team of #MyBebeLOVE everything that you have done, all your efforts, time, and creativity that you put in this movie was well-appreciated. You have come up with a really good piece that the whole ALDUB Nation will thank you for. You have made our Christmas 2015 extra special by giving us an extraordinary gift to enjoy. Your success is also ALDUB Nation’s success, and together we will continue to work hand in hand to make this world a better and happier place to live in.  We are committed to support you in every endeavor.

Dondi&Anna

For me, now is the only Christmas that I never felt lonely that I still don’t have a love life. I have been fervently praying to God for Him to give me the right man for about a decade or so. But when ALDUB came into the picture they made me believe in tamang panahon, destiny, forever and true love. I personally believe that LOVE will come unexpectedly, it may not be this year but I must say, I will always have a great memory of Christmas 2015. Thanks to ALDUB this year is really one for keeps!

Again, MERRY CHRISTMAS to EAT BULAGA DABARKADS, AISING, ALDUB NATION and to ALDUB (Alden & Maine) Wishing that you also to have a great CHRISTMAS to remember! Let us continue to spread LOVE, radiate GOOD VIBES and share HAPPINESS! Let us not forget that the real reason for this season is our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s us thank God for He has been so good to us and we have so many blessings to be thankful for.

My Version of #DearYayaDub

I know this will be a long shot but I would still try. I just want to let you know my thoughts of having Maine in our lives. She truly deserves all the kind words, the appreciation, the love and all the blessings she has been receiving right now. Kudos to her humble heart. Hoping that she get the chance to read this. That would really make me happy.

Remembering Lola, Grandma, and Nanay! – #Thank YouPoLola

It has been over a week since the AlDub ‘Ang Tamang Panahon’ concert occurred and every time I watch the video on youtube, I always get emotional.  I have been consistently crying on that particular moment when Lola Nidora is finally giving Alden and Maine the freedom to express their admiration, feelings  and love without any restrictions. ‘Tamang Panahon’ journey has not been easy but the wait is truly worth it.

In this photo, Alden and Maine hugged Lola Nidora to express their appreciation for the freedom, trust, support and love that she gave them.

The Emotional Lola and Apo

When Lola Nidora said that she will no longer be a ‘Malaking Hadlang’ I saw that her intention was so pure and I felt the sincerity of her heart. I strongly believe that there is no Lola who would think of bad thoughts for her grandchild. There is no Lola who would wish her grandchild to be hurt, to be  brokenhearted, to be on the wrong path. All the Lolas would only want to see their grandchildren happy, well-loved and taken cared of.

Though sometimes our Lolas are mostly misunderstood because they are strict and have a lot of rules and ‘pangaral’ they are still there to love us, protect us and understand us unconditionally. We just have to learn to appreciate their presence while we still have them around. Lucky are the ones who have this privilege. I encourage you to spend more time with them, show them some care, give them extra ounce of kindness and a dose affection, these mean so much to them. Make them feel loved, appreciated, respected and needed too. We will always be our Lola’s little ‘Apo’. They can never outgrow the thought that we are also getting old. In their eyes will always be a kid who needs guidance with a little ‘kurot’ sometimes.

lolawithAldub2

I just miss having my Lola around. I miss having her. She was there to watch over me, to listen to my stories and to take care of me like a spoiled little child. I miss the times when she used to ask me how my day went; what I want to have for snack or lunch. I miss listening to her stories, her teachings, oh! I just miss her. I miss my Lola Pining. Sorry I am a certified spoiled grandchild and my cousins know that. No one can object, I am our Lola’s favorite.

Sadly, she was gone too soon. She passed away when I was nine years old due to severe sickness. I cannot contain the tears that I shed in a  bucket when she went away. When I heard about the news, I knew life will never be the same again.

Whenever I see other girls with their Lolas, I can’t help but feel the emptiness I have  in my heart. The feeling of longing for her presence; she could have seen my little achievements and I know she would have been so proud of me.

For those like me who no longer have a Lola, the best thing that we can do right now is to just look up and say a silent prayer to  let them know how much we love, appreciate and miss them. Let us also not forget that even once in our lifetime we were so blessed to have them.

Let’s All Look Up And Say A Thanksgiving Prayer.

A Thanksgiving Prayer for Eat Bulaga, EB Dabarkads, AlDub,  AlDub Nation           and Tamang Panahon.  Let’s all look up and say a prayer!

Eat Bulaga’s Advocacy And The Legacy TVJ, ALDUB And EB Dabarkads Have Instilled In Us, Filipinos.

EB_Logo

Eat Bulaga! – A famous household name, “Bukambibig ng bawat Pinoy” – the more appropriate description. It is the longest running noontime show on television that has been with us for the past thirty-six challenging years. Eat Bulaga has touched the lives of Filipinos all over the world in more ways than you can imagine. EB is not just an ordinary show. Eat Bulaga has a perfect combination of great hosts with versatile talents too. For its viewers, watching EB has become a habit, like you’ve never want to miss any episode. Watching Eat Bulaga for the past three decades has made a lasting impact in our lives. TVJ and EB Dabarkads are not just hosts, “Pamilyang Pinoy” considers them as family.

eb_1Today, even more Filipinos are getting hooked to this “pinag-uusapan at kaabang-abang” na noontime show. Eat Bulaga also paved the way for the discovery of various talents that made a name in the entertainment industry. Though it seems so natural for Eat Bulaga to make their audience laugh with tears and help them fulfill their dreams via EB’s various segments – Little Miss Philippines, Bulagaan, Pinoy Henyo, Bulaga Pa More, Juan for All, All for Juan : Bayanihan of d’ Pipol, and KalyeSerye just to name a few, Eat Bulaga’s pursuit to giving joy doesn’t end there.

Looking back to what Eat Bulaga, Tito, Vic and Joey, and the EB Dabarkads have been doing through the years, I can’t help but wonder, How did EB maintains its popularity to its millions of viewers and yet it has managed to gain an incremental number of followers everyday? Suddenly, I realized what sets them apart from the rest. It is because the people behind Eat Bulaga have real genuine hearts, “may PUSO”. EB has the kind of heart that is truly “Pinoy”, a heart that you will be proud to have.  A heart that gives hope to the helpless. A heart that has the courage to be resilient in spite of the never-ending trials. A heart that cares for the less fortunate. A heart that listens to the society. A heart that humbly shares its blessings. A heart that is not self-seeking. A heart that forgives and most especially a heart that appreciates and gives back.

Eat Bulaga never fails to help our less fortunate brethren with the special projects that it has launched. Education is one of EB’s many advocacies. Eat Bulaga believes in the importance of education and thought of projects that can help alleviate the problems in our society. Do you still remember the thirty Eat Bulaga Excellent Students (EBESt) scholars? As of today, two batches of scholars that are composed of thirty poor but hardworking students were sent to school by Eat Bulaga.

First batch was launched in 2009 and graduated 2013. To show EB’s unwavering support to the EBest Scholars, Eat Bulaga also helps them go through with their College Education. The second batch of EBESt scholars was launched last 2014. Here is a video of Eat Bulaga Best Excellent Students Awardee Graduation 1st Batch of EBest Scholars. EBest Scholars 2009 – Batch 1 Here is the video of the launching of the second of batch of EBESt Scholars EBest Scholars 2014 – Batch 2

Have you also heard the “Isang Lapis, Isang Papel Project”?  This was Bossing Vic Sotto’s Birthday Anniversary wish. Isang Lapis, Isang Papel ProjectBossing Expressing his thanks to EveryJuan

“Ito lang ang wish ni Bossing sa kanyang birthday, ang sama-sama nating pagbabayanihan upang makatulong sa pagtupad ng mga pangarap ng mga mag-aaral na nangangailangan.”

Eat Bulaga had The EB Classroom Project where they built classrooms and libraries.Part 1 : EB Classroom Project Turnover – Lakdayan Elementary SchoolPart 2: EB Classroom Project Turnover Lakdayan Elementary School EB Classroom Project : Silid Aklatan/Silid Kaalaman – Unzad Elementary School Brgy. Unzad, Villasis, Pangasinan  June 17, 2011

Eat Bulaga also had EB – Ryzza’s Classroom Project wherein she auctioned her  dresses for this cause. “Ang mga maiipon sa bibilhin niyo, gagamitin sa feeding program ng ilang mag-aaral sa Pampanga.  Dahil bawal ang gutom, dapat busog!” – Ryzza Mae Dizon

Eat Bulaga’s “Juan for All, All for One, Bayanihan of d’ Pipol” segment hosted by Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, also known as JoWaPao, the new generation of TVJ shows the true purpose of Eat Bulaga — to relentlessly help less fortunate Filipinos and to give happiness to every Juan who supported them throughout the years. Part of this segment is the “Plastic ni Juan Project, where they collect plastic bottles then recycle into armchairs and donate to different  schools around the country. For years they have helped thousands of students, schools and barangays throughout the Philippines, “mula Batanes hanggang Jolo.”

The “Kalyeserye” entitled #KiligPaMore was also launched July of 2015 a segment that teaches good and traditional Filipino values and lessons about love. In line with birth of the phenomenal love team AlDub, (Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, aka Yaya Dub), Eat Bulaga has been even more blessed. Eat Bulaga continues to dominate the ratings in its daily noontime slot. It is also evident with the obvious growing number of TVCs   and sponsors who have put their trust to EB. As they say, 2015 is the rebirth of Eat Bulaga, a stronger, a better, a more meaningful Eat Bulaga offering “mas masaya at mas makabuluhang panood.”

EB13

Together with AlDub, the AlDub Nation was born. A nation that makes EB and AlDub trend everyday with at least 7-digit number of  tweets. This nation is the only Fandom that received an Achievement Award for spreading “KalyeSerye” values online through inspirational posts and tweets. It continuously breaks records in history one of which is the 25.6 million tweets for #ALDUBEBforLove and they are also planning to break their own record of tweets for the upcoming Tamang Panahon Celebration. TicketWorld also announced that The Tamang Panahon Event had the highest ticket sales accumulated for just a day.

One way to give back and celebrate the overall success of AlDub, Lola Nidora, portrayed by Wally Bayola announced on Eat Bulaga’s October 17, 2015 episode of “Kalyeserye”, that the most awaited “Tamang Panahon” is bound to happen on October 24, 2015, Saturday at The Philippine Arena – The world’s largest indoor arena that has 55,000 seating capacity. #TamangPanahon will come to reality exactly 100 days after the birth of Aldub, – July 16, 2015.

eb_2“Tamang Panahon” is not just for the “Kalyeserye lovers” – Alden and Yaya Dub. It is for the whole AlDub Nation too. Lola Nidora has invited the AlDub Nation to be part of this historical event, EB’s biggest extravaganza ever. To make it more meaningful, she encourages everyone to join them by buying tickets to be able to watch the show. Lola Nidora said that 100 percent of the ticket sales will be used for building “ALDUB LIBRARIES”, Eat Bulaga’s latest project in cooperation with the whole AlDub Nation. Just a few hours after the announcement, tickets were selling like hotcakes and almost sold out over the weekend. This goes to show that the AlDub Nation is not just a nation that tweets. It is also nation that helps, shares, cares and supports projects with a noble cause for the benefit of many. The power of the united AlDub Nation and Eat Bulaga will exceptionally show the real essence of “Bayanihan”. “Isang gawaing may kabuluhan at di makasarili lamang!”

aldub nation             Since the real number of AlDub Nation is not just equivalent to 55,000 people, there were several petitions through tweets and FB posts from the AlDub Nation worldwide those who consider themselves as #TeamAbroad #TeamBahay and #TeamReplay asking of other ways to help. They have been calling the attention of Eat Bulaga hosts Tito, Vic and Joey, other EB Dabarkads, Alden, Maine and EB producers and staff. There were also tweets asking the help of the sponsors of EB as well. In response to this plea, Eat Bulaga and Tape, Inc. incooperation with BDO one of their sponsor banks an Account for ALDUB has been set up to receive monetary donations from all over the world. Isn’t it heartwarming to see a real worldwide “bayanihan” in the making?

Eat Bulaga!, TVJ, Alden & Maine, and EB Dabarkads, you just don’t know how much you have touched the lives of so many Filipinos.

There are so many unexplainable reasons why we, Filipinos love Eat Bulaga. But,  I must say we have learned to love Eat Bulaga and its Dabarkads because we believe in them, we journey with them and we continuously admire and adhere their “Mabuting Hangarin para sa higit na nakararami.” Let us all remember,  sabi nga nila …“Hangga’t may bata, may Eat Bulaga!”

Congratulations Eat Bulaga!, TVJ, EB Dabarkads, AlDub (Alden and Maine) and AlDub Nation! This is just the beginning. More to go!

PS : During “Tamang Panahon” Charity concert of AlDub last October 24, 2015 held at The Philippine Arena, there were 55,000 people who gathered and partied with the whole AlDub Nation and EB Dabarkads. Worldwide Bayanihan was so evident. Aside from TeamArena who watched the show live the TeamBahay, TeamAbroad and TeamReplay watched from different parts of the world through Live Streaming via YouTube, on their television sets, mobile phones, and via Pinoy TV simultaneously. This Tamang Panahon episode of Eat Bulaga got a rating from AGB Nielsen in Mega Mla 50.8% audience share of 82.8% vs its competitor 5.4%/8.8%. The highest among all of Eat Bulaga’s episode for the past 3 decades. Almost fourteen million pesos were raised through ticket sales alone. There were also donations sent by OFWs and other Filipinos who were not able to buy tickets. BDO facilitated an account for ALDUB through Tape, Inc.’s account. The accumulated number of tweets for #ALDubEBTamangPanahon reached 41 million. There was an official statement by Rishi Jaitly from Twitter about this.

Finding Love and Forever sa #TamangPanahon.

love1Do you believe in love and forever? Have you found it? Are you still hoping and praying that it will be a reality sa Tamang Panahon?

Everyone has his or her own version of how a love story begins. There are people who believe in love at first sight. Some say love begins with one hello, others with a simple smile.  For some, love starts with a cup of coffee or a pint of ice cream, while for others a shared appreciation of food, a bucket of popcorn while watching a movie or simply just enjoying each other’s smalltalk while eating isaw, kwek-kwek or fishball at the neighborhood’s ‘tindahan sa kanto’ could spark something special.

For AlDub,  it all started accidentally through a split screen ‘kalyeserye’ that instantly had a worldwide following,  giving people an unexplainable feeling of ‘kilig’ and happiness.  Some really believe that it was “MaiDen Heaven” because it seems to have an “AlDub-vine” intervention and everything just fell into place at the right time.

aldubCollageLove is everywhere. It can be found in the office, in school, in theaters, hallways, malls, even in a busy two-way street. It can also be found in castles like the ones in fairytales where prince and princess meet. You can find love in the most unexpected places. People confess finding love in shallow waters, on mountaintops, in an island, in a desert, or even in cold snowy places. A simple plywood, locket, alarm clock, hanky, flagpole, basement, straw, gym, tree, long table, theme park, mansion, rally, parking lot, garden, library, or a noisy canteen are all witnesses to love’s grandeur.

You can fall in love on a cruise, aboard a plane, a train, bus, jeepney, motorbike or any type of vehicle. Name it. Love makes travelling worthwhile no matter how bumpy the ride is. For AlDub, the various Barangay’s “Kalye“ or the different streets in the Philippines and the whole ALDUB Nation watching on television everyday are the witnesses on how AlDub’s blossoming on cam love story unfolded. People even get confused whether it is just on reel or for real, this is quite obvious when Alden and Maine unconsciously go out of character and often teased by the hosts, “Acting-an lang ‘to uy!”

Love has grown with time and the evolution of technology. Some found love through having Phone pals and pen pals, others through radio signal communication. But now Love transcends through the development of other social media platforms. A wrongly sent text message can lead to love. Some took the effort to find love by just swiping to the right.  A simple status update in Facebook,  Twitter and Instagram  can also mean a profession of love. Other apps also became instruments to bring lovers together even those who are million miles apart.  From snail mails, fan signs, fax, cards, emails or mails of whatever kind, one thing’s for sure – love is always found.

This may sound a cliché but most people say that one way to get to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Some meet love in the kitchen. One cooks, the other lovingly savours the food. Love is also in music. One writes the song, the other sings. Love can be found on the dance floor, like two individuals swaying to love’s fantastic tempo. Love can be in the hospital; one is the patient, the other one is the caregiver breathing life to the other. Love can be on the radio, a DJ and an avid listener just might end up falling in love. Love can be in the courtroom. The defendant and the accused may just patch things up.

In all honesty, love can be found in the most unexpected place and time, not knowing that the love of your life is already there usually unnoticed because you could have been to busy finding love. Can you imagine how magical it is for love to get into someone’s system freely?  Only the heart knows how and it would be so hard to explain.

Love nowadays is expressed differently; it can be done through the help of Internet, social media apps, or can even be broadcasted live Via Satellite. Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye that features AlDub showed us that chivalry is not yet dead. They exemplified to us the importance of Filipinos’ traditional values on “panliligaw, paninilbihan and panunuyo”. It teaches us to be patient, to wait, to be hopeful and prayerful. It inspires everyone to believe in the real power of love. Though lovers have to go through different trials and sacrifices they are still eager to deal with it   just to profess unconditional love with their purest intention.

There are so many instances where you can find love. You can wait or search for love but in the end, there’s only one thing that’s true. I believe that whatever your story is, there is one God behind it. He is the one who writes your very own love story. He is the one who creates the main characters, who happens to be you and the one whom He made just for you. He writes the plot, chooses the setting, and makes sure that love finds its way to you.  Just believe in #tamangpanahon when God is ready to give you your forever.

For those like me who have not yet found the love of their life, just live each day with the will to follow your heart’s desires and just be happy. I know that God only makes sure that in His perfect time your paths will cross whichever road you’ll take.
